Technical data: When you visit daytrading-academy.com, our servers automatically collect your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referral source, pages visited, time and date of visit, and time spent on pages.

Purchase and transaction data: If you purchase courses, subscriptions, or other products, we process transaction details, payment method information (we do not store full card numbers), and order history.

Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): To fulfill purchases, manage subscriptions, provide access to courses and tools, and respond to pre-contractual inquiries.

Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): For website security, fraud prevention, usage analytics (aggregated), and improving our services. Our legitimate interest does not override your fundamental rights and freedoms.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

Account and purchase data: Retained for the duration of your account plus 3 months after account termination, unless longer retention is required by law.

Communication data: Retained for the duration of the business relationship and up to 3 months after resolution of your inquiry, unless longer retention is required.

Technical and analytics data: Aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely. IP addresses in server logs are retained for a maximum of 90 days.

Tax and accounting records: Retained for 6–10 years as required by German tax law (§ 147 AO, § 257 HGB).
